Well, that's just the programmer taking the easy way out. Too bad
really as obviously he was half-way there. Apparently, what happens
is most of these programmers design everything based on the PAL-
display and it's all hard-coded in so, resizing everything for NTSC
(which would be necessary for an OS-programmed game or
whatever, unless they opened a scrollable screen) would be too much
trouble...

Fair enough... I've seen games with garbled displays both because of
NTSC-mode as well as running on an AGA-machine... BUT, I know
this is not AMOS's fault as I have seen the same thing with
games written in other languages.

Well, I agree... I'd say if they would just do anything to support NTSC
(and we try to fully utilize PAL as well), it would be a BIG step in the
right direction. Certainly a bit more acceptable than just quitting the
program...

Personally, I've never given it any thought, but that's probably due
to the fact that I never realized monitors caused hemorrhoids!!
